Man taken to Boston-area hospital after alleged assault by a family member

NASHUA- An assault Tuesday night resulted in felony charges for a Nashua man and a trip to a Boston hospital for his alleged victim.
Police responded to a local hospital about 7:30 Tuesday night for a report of the assault by a male relative of Adam Larose, 34, of 5 Girourd Avenue, Nashua. The victim had sustained several injuries and had gone to the hospital for treatment.
Detectives determined that the victim was struck and pushed multiple times by Larose. As a result of the assault, the victim sustained numerous fractures to his torso and facial area.
Police say the injuries were deemed serious, but non-life threatening. Based on the severity of the injuries the victim was transferred to a Boston-area hospital to receive further medical treatment.
Larose was arrested and charged with second degree assault-domestic violence, class B felony and second degree assault, class B felony.
Each felony is punishable by up to seven years in prison, exclusive of fines. Larose is being held at the Hillsborough County Department of Corrections on $50,000 cash bail. He is scheduled for an arraignment on May 3, 2017.
