MANCHESTER - A man from Manchester thinks the Derryfield Country Club should put up netting along Mammoth Road.
Michael Hughes said he was driving to the grocery store over the weekend in his 1997 Infiniti with his family when a golf ball smashed through the driver's-side window, and hit him in the face.
The Derryfiled Country Club golfer who hit the ball agreed to pay for the damage, but Hughes believes the golf course - which is city-owned - should put nets up along Mammoth Road.
The golf course says it's not financially responsible, and it's not financially feasible to put netting along Mammoth and a few other streets.
