Man points gun at Cumberland Farms clerk in Manchester, stole cash and cigarettes

MANCHESTER — A man pointed a handgun at the clerk of a Cumberland Farms, demanding cash on Saturday.

The clerk said she was behind the counter when a white man entered the store, brandished a handgun and demanding money. He obtained three cartons of cigarettes and an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police responded to the robbery call at 4:07 a.m., but the suspect had already fled.

The suspect is described as 5' 9", 180 lbs, and last seen wearing a blue zippered sweatshirt, a black baseball hat, dark colored pants and blue and gray sneakers.
