Man pleads guilty to negligent homicide in Laconia crash
LACONIA - The man who police believe hit and killed a woman pleaded guilty on negligent homicide charges Monday.
Ryan Mears received the maximum sentence of 10 years in prison. He also pleaded guilty to second-degree assault and possession of a controlled drug.
In July, Mears allegedly cut off his electronic monitoring device and did not check in with authorities, as part of his bail.
