Man pleads guilty to ID fraud to buy handguns, sentenced to 37 months in prison
CONCORD — A man who tried to illegally purchase 100 handguns will now serve 37 months in prison.
63-year-old Nana Kofi Baffoe pleaded guilty in June 2016 to two charges of making false statements related to the purchase of firearms.
When purchasing two different handguns, Baffoe falsified his name and his residence. Before he could purchase 100 handguns in Nashua, he was caught.
After serving his 37 month prison sentence, Baffoe will be placed on supervised release for two years.
