PETERBOROUGH - The man killed during Tuesday's officer-involved shooting has been identified as a troubled runaway teen from Michigan.

UPDATE: Man killed in officer-involved shooting after police pursuit in Peterborough

Lane Lesko, 19, was shot and killed following a police pursuit on Route 136.

An autopsy performed Wednesday found that Lesko died of a single gunshot wound and that his death was classified as a homicide.

The N.H. Attorney General's office has launched an investigation into the incident. No police officers were injured.

Officials: Missing teen likely connected with stolen truck, pontoon boat at Lake Umbagog

Lesko had been on a camping and canoeing trip at Lake Umbagog organized by Summit Achievement - a program that works with "students who may be experiencing difficulty within their family, school, and/or personal lives."

A canoe and paddle went missing along with Lesko early Sunday morning, but the boat was found in the lake later in the morning.

Reports of a stolen truck came into officials seven miles away from the campsite, too.

A few hours later, Paradise Point Cottages also reported that a pontoon boat that didn't belong was docked in their slip. That boat was later found out to be stolen from another campsite.

Police believe the reports were all connected to Lesko's disappearance.
