Man found dead in Rindge creek identified as Franklin Pierce University student

RINDGE - The man who was found dead in a creek over the weekend has been identified as a Franklin Pierce University student.

Police said Douglas Usseglio, 22 of Massachusetts, was found Sunday morning in a stream behind ATA Construction on Bradford Street in Rindge.

Officials said there was obvious head trauma, but no signs of foul play.

The exact cause of death is pending a toxicology report.

Usseglio had last been seen Saturday night at a social gathering at a nearby home.

The investigation is ongoing.
