Man flee EMTs after heroin OD, wanted on bench warrant

MANCHESTER - Police in Manchester say they responded to an apartment at 110 Beech St.early this morning for an apparent heroin overdose. Police say the victim, identified as 23 year-old Jerramy Jones, then fled on foot as EMT's walked him to an ambulance.

Officers later learned Jones had an electronic bench warrant for his arrest for Violation of a Protective Order.

A witness said he saw Jones run into an abandoned building. Police tried to track Jones with a K9 but the search turned up nothing.

Police are asking anyone who may know where Jones is to contact them at 668-8711.
