ALBANY — The New Hampshire State Police's Marine Patrol says a man drowned at an Albany pond after his canoe overturned.

Authorities were called to Whitton Pond at 11:18 a.m. Sunday after receiving reports that a canoe had capsized and people were in the water.

Police say all three boaters were wearing life jackets, but a man was trapped underneath the canoe.
