Man charged in Plymouth triple-stabbing pleads not guilty, held on $100,000 bail


PLYMOUTH — The man arrested after the triple-stabbing early Sunday morning has pleaded not guilty.

Terrence Simmons Jr., 19 of Newport, R.I., was arrested Sunday and found with various illegal drugs, police said.

Simmons is being charged with three counts of second-degree assault, three counts of misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, and two felony counts of possession of a controlled substance.

Simmons was arraigned at Plymouth District Court on Monday and plead not guilty. He is being held on $100,000 cash bail.
