Man charged in high-speed car chase that ended in Nashua yet to be arraigned in Mass.
50-year-old Richard Simone of Worcester, Mass., was arraigned in New Hampshire last week on a fugitive from justice charge, but Simone has yet to face charges in Massachusetts where he began his two-state trek in a pickup truck to evade pursuing police last Wednesday.
Simone was held in a Manchester jail without bail on fugitive from justice charges before he was transported to Massachusetts.
Live video from news helicopters showed Simone on the ground outside of his pickup truck before police officers closed in to place him in custody. Two officers are seen repeatedly hitting Simone. Two troopers, one from New Hampshire and one from Massachusetts, have been suspended.
New Hampshire Attorney General Joseph Foster has pledged a criminal investigation into the arrest.
