Man arrested on domestic violence charges in Nashua
NASHUA - A man was arrested after police said he assaulted a woman.
On Wednesday November 25, Police said they responded around 5:30 a.m. after a woman yelled for help.
When they arrived at Palm Street they found a woman who said she was assaulted. The woman suffered from non-life threatening injuries and was treated at Southern N.H. Medical Center.
Julio Vargas, 38 of 113 Palm Street Apartment #5, was arrested and charged with second degree assault, Class B felony and an alternative theory of second degree assault, domestic violence, simple assault, class A misdemeanors.
If convicted, Vargas could receive up to seven years for the felony, exclusive of fines, and up to one year of imprisonment in the Hillsborough County House of Corrections, also exclusive of fines, for a class A misdemeanor.
He is being held at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections pending arraignent in the 9th district Court, Nashua District Division.
