Man arrested in Manchester, accused of entering woman's home through window with knife

MANCHESTER – Police arrested a man Monday evening for allegedly breaking into a woman’s home and threatening her with a knife the day before.

The alleged victim claims that Jeffrey O’Neil, 48 of Manchester, entered her apartment through a bathroom window, but left before police arrived.

Officers said they found a knife on scene.

According to police, O’Neil was stopped by officers on Spruce Street, where he was taken into custody on a warrant for his arrest.

He is charged with kidnapping, burglary and being a felon in possession with a deadly weapon.

He was expected to appear in court Tuesday.
