Man arrested for trafficking heroin, fentanyl mixture pleads guilty
CONCORD — A man who was found with almost 100 grams of a heroin and fentanyl mixture has pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute.
Ernesto L. Reyes, 26, of Lawrence, Massachusetts, was arrested on Nov. 11, 2016, by New Hampshire State Police on Route 125 in Plastow.
Reyes was stopped after committing several motor vehicle violations and asked to step out of his car. When he stepped out, officers noticed a package wrapped in green plastic wrap on the floor next to the driver's seat. Inside was what appeared to officers to be a heroin powder. He was subsequently taken into custody and charged with possession with intent to distribute.
A lab test found that the powder was a mixture of heroin and fentanyl that amounted to almost 100 grams.
Reyes pleaded guilty to the charge of possession with intent to distribute. He is scheduled to be sentenced Oct. 19 in U.S. District Court in Concord.
