Man arrested for threatening victim he previously stalked in Hooksett

HOOKSETT — A man was arrested for threatening a person inside a home he had previously been arrested at for stalking.

Police said they responded to reports that there was an unwanted person at 5 Skyline Ave. in Hooksett. Police were told the man was breaking things and throwing kitchen knives inside the home early Friday morning.

When officers arrived on scene, they were able to identify the suspect as Michael Wendell, 21.

Wendell was arrested on May 28 for stalking at the same address.

Police said Wendell threatened the victim with a kitchen knife and told him that he was going to stab him in the head with it. Wendell also destroyed pieces of property in the home and violated a protection order between himself and the victim.

He was charged with criminal threatening with a deadly weapon, stalking, criminal mischief, and $3,000 cash warrant for failure to appear in court.
