Man arrested for stealing more than $5K worth of tools in Nashua, pawned them in Derry

NASHUA — A Hudson man was arrested on Wednesday after stealing tools from a local auto service shop.

Christopher Livingston, 33, was arrested after a short investigation. Livingston allegedly stole $5,498.97 worth of tools from the local service shop at about 9:30 a.m.

Police were able to locate the stolen tools at Pawn Guys in Derry.

Livingston, who was previously arrested and was currently being held on unrelated charges, was charged with theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, a felony. With these charges, Livingston can face up to 15 years in prison, exclusive of fines.

Livingston was arraigned at the Nashua court Wednesday and his bail was set at $10,000 cash only.
