Man arrested for DUI after head-on collision in Rochester

ROCHESTER - A city man was arrested for driving under the influence after a head-on collision Sunday evening.

Police said that Michael Page, 61, crossed the center line in his Toyota Prius as he traveled northbound on Chestnut Hill Road, slamming into Jesse Richardson, 39, also of Rochester.

Page and Richardson were transported to Frisbie Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Prius and Richardson's Dodge Caravan both sustained significant front-end damage, according to Sergeant Eric Babine.

Page was arrested and charged with Aggravated DUI, a class B felony. He was released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail.

He will be arraigned on May 11 in Rochester Circuit Court.
