Man arrested for driving naked - with wires attached to penis - next to school


BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - Police received a report of a man in the driver's seat of a 4-door Toyota, fully naked with wires attached to his genitals on Halloween at about 1:44 p.m.

Patrick Coleman, a witness walking in the area at the time of incident, reported Kurt Allen Jenkins, 56, after he gestured at Coleman to look down towards his groin area, while fully naked with electronic wires attached to his genitals. Jenkins allegedly made sexual remarks at Coleman, opened the passenger door, and asked him to get in the car, according to police.

At the time when Jenkins' was naked behind the wheel he was near a school where children the ages of 5-10 were being released from school. As the children neared closer to Jenkins' car, Coleman claims that Jenkins' slowed his car, almost to a complete stop. The children allegedly looked in Jenkins' direction but did not approach the car.

Coleman assisted a police officer in the stop of Jenkins' Toyota. Jenkins' was stopped, but refused to turn off and exit the car. When he finally did, police noted that he was only wearing a pair of red shorts.

During the arrest, Jenkins' sustained injuries to his face, specifically his right eye, as well as injuries to his mouth and nose due to his noncompliance with the officer.

Jenkins was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The officer arrested Jenkins' on probable cause charging him with lascivious exhibition pursuant, exposure of sexual organs pursuant, and resisting a law enforcement officer without violent pursuant. his car was towed from the scene.
