ROCHESTER - A man was arrested Sunday night on Driving While Intoxicated charges after police said he caused a front-end collision.

Rochester police and emergency crews responded to a crash at about 8:15 p.m. on Portland Street.

After an investigation at the scene, police said Robert Hoitt, 72 of Rochester, caused the accident when he pulled his Chevrolet 1500 truck in front of Ellison Hancock, 59 of Rochester, who was driving a Toyota Tundra.

Hoitt was arrested for DWI and released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail.

He is scheduled to appear in court next week.
