Man arrested after stealing from several cars in BJ's parking lot in Lebanon


LEBANON — Police responded to a report of a man breaking into several cars in the parking lot of BJ's on 12A on Thursday at about 1 p.m.

When police officers arrived, witnesses gave them a description of the suspect and of the car her fled in.

The car was located with the suspect inside on Plainfield Road. All items that had been taken from several different cars were recovered.

Joseph Morin, 33, of Springfield Vt., was arrested and charged with two counts theft and one count of operating after suspension. Morin also faces felony charges due to prior theft convictions.

Morin was arraigned at the Lebanon District Division, New Hampshire Second Circuit Court on Thursday and was held at the Grafton County House of Corrections on $5,000 cash bail.
