Man arrested, accused of stealing from The Paper Store in Nashua

NASHUA — A Nashua man was arrested for a Sept. 6 theft from a store in the Gate City.

Patrol officers responded to The Paper Store at 213 Daniel Webster Highway for a report of theft around 2:51 p.m. After an investigation, Dana Hastings, 29, was identified as the chief suspect in the case.

He was arrested Tuesday at about 3:47 p.m. after an arrest warrant was issued for him. Hastings had two prior theft-related convictions, which upgraded the misdemeanor level theft to a class B felony, according to police.

A class B felony is punishable by up to seven years in prison, exclusive of fines.
