Man arrested 6th time for drunken driving


NORTH READING, Mass. — A Florida man was arrested on Thursday evening and was charged with his sixth drunk driving offense.

Police received the report from a restaurant on Main Street in regards to an intoxicated man leaving the business and getting into his car. Upon arrival, an officer found a car that matched the description from the report. The suspect's car pulled out of the parking lot, heading southbound on Route 128. The officer pulled the man over and confirmed that he was under the influence.

Thomas Frawley, 65, of Naples, Fla., was charged with a marked lanes violation and operating under the influence of alcohol, his sixth offense.

Five of Frawley's offences were in Massachusetts and one was in Florida, according to police.

Frawley was held on $2,000 bail and will be arraigned Friday morning in Woburn District Court.
