MILLSFIELD (AP) — Authorities say a Massachusetts man is expected to recover after he was severely injured in a rollover crash involving an all-terrain vehicle in New Hampshire.
New Hampshire Fish and Game officials said that the accident happened along a gravel logging road in Millsfield around 10:40 a.m. Sunday.
Rafel Bottene, 34, was thrown from his ATV after losing control of the vehicle while going down a hill near the Dixville town line. A passerby with medical training assisted the West Yarmouth, Massachusetts man until paramedics arrived.
Bottene was airlifted to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, where he was listed in stable condition as of Sunday night.
Investigators believe speed contributed to the crash.
