Man accused of selling heroin at NH Burger King arrested along with female driver

SALEM — A man accused of selling heroin at a Burger King was arrested, along with the woman who drove him to the fast food restaurant.

Detectives were alerted to narcotic sales that were occurring in the parking lot and bathroom at the Burger King on South Broadway Wednesday.

Surveillance was set up and detectives witnessed the male suspect sell a "full finger" of heroin to another man.

The suspect, identified as Manny Bautista-Arias, 24 of Lawrence, Mass., was arrested without incident upon making the sale.

He was charged with sale of a controlled drug and was arraigned Thursday.

Bautista-Arais was driven to the Burger King by Jusleen Javier, 24 of Lawrence, Mass. She was charged with a minor motor vehicle offense, operating without a valid license, and was released on a summons to appear in court.

The street value of the heroin was $300, police said.

Police said there is no indication that anyone associated with Burger King was involved in the illicit activity.
