Man accused of robbing Rochester, NH, bank in zebra print dress on parole for assault


ROCHESTER - A man accused of robbing a Rochester bank in a zebra-print dress was on parole on assault charges.

Bart Allen Augustus was convicted of simple and second-degree assault in June 2013.

A judge has ordered Augustus held on $20,000 cash only bail for violating parole. He will have a hearing in Strafford County Superior Court on Dec. 9.

Augustus is accused of robbing the Bank of New Hampshire on North Main Street on Oct. 23. That case has been transferred to Strafford County Superior Court where he is awaiting an indictment from a grand jury.
