ROCHESTER - The Barnstead man accused of beating a popular Seacoast drummer to death continues to be held on $25,000 cash bail.
Eric Langlais is charged with felony riot and manslaughter for "recklessly" causing the death of James Unfonak during a fight outside Gary’s Sports Bar in Rochester on Jan. 31. Prosecutors claim Langlais waited outside the bar for Unfonak after getting kicked out.
The state argued he is dangerous, with past convictions including throwing a 4-month-old baby across a room.
Two other women are charged in connection with the case. Mandy Patch of Rochester is facing simple assault and felony riot charges. Laurie Henner of Farmington is facing similar charges.
