Man accused of attempting to rob 95-year-old WWII vet turns himself in
MANCHESTER - The man who allegedly tried to rob a 95-year-old World War II veteran turned himself in Wednesday morning.
David Farnsworth, 42, turned himself into police headquarters.
Public tips helped identify Farnsworth.
On May 2, 95-year-old Arthur Kamberis was leaving a Walgreen's on Valley Street when he was approached by an unknown assailant.
Kamberis was able to fend off the attacker along with a good Samaritan.
Farnsworth was scheduled to appear in the 9th Circuit Court in Manchester on Wednesday morning.
