Man accused of attempting to kidnap young girl at Merrimack Outlets ordered back to jail
NASHUA- The Connecticut man accused of attacking an under-age girl at the Merrimack Premium Outlet malls back in June 2015 was ordered back to jail with bail set at $50,000 Thursday, according to the Nashua Telegraph.
Last year, 25-year-old Desmond Mighty, of Windsor, Conn., allegedly grabbed the girl as she was leaving the restroom and pinned her to the ground.
Police said the girl screamed and drew the attention of a bystander, causing him to flee.
After receiving a description from the alleged victim, police apprehended Mighty in the parking lot where they reportedly found loaded weapons and a large quantity of marijuana in his vehicle. Mighty was charged with attempted kidnapping, criminal restraint, false imprisonment, criminal threatening and assault in addition to drug and firearm charges that stemmed from the search of his vehicle.
According to the Telegraph, Mighty had been staying at his parents’ home in Windsor.
It is not clear whether or not he will make bail, via the report.
