3 teens accused of setting fire to Maine mill will undergo mental health evaluations
SANFORD, Maine — The three teenagers accused of setting a massive fire that destroyed a vacant mill building last month will undergo mental health evaluations.
The two 13-year-olds and a 12-year-old, all from Sanford, were scheduled to appear in court Thursday; however, this court appearance got continued until October, WCSH reported.
On Sunday, police arrested the boys who each face a felony arson charge for the fire that destroyed the Stenton Trust Mill building in Sanford.
All three remain under house arrest and cannot leave their homes without a parent or guardian.
According to court records, all three juveniles denied setting the fire in Biddeford District Court Monday.
