Maine woman who jumped off I-95 bridge in Portsmouth has died
PORTSMOUTH (AP) — A Maine woman who was pulled from the Piscataqua River after jumping from the Interstate 95 bridge has died.
Tanya Neal, 38, of Kittery, Maine, was taken to Portsmouth Regional Hospital on Thursday in critical condition. A hospital spokeswoman says she died Friday.
Authorities received a report Thursday morning that someone had jumped off the bridge that runs between Maine and New Hampshire.
New Hampshire Marine Patrol located the woman in the water between the I-95 and the Sara Long bridges.
