Madbury man accused of threatening plow driver with gun


MADBURY - A man has been arrested for threatening a plow driver with a gun, police said.

Police responded to 5 Bunker Lane around 8 p.m.

Michael Rines, 54, waved a hand gun at the private plow driver after the driver had put snow into Rines' driveway, police said.

Rines was cooperative and no shots were fired, police said.

Rines is facing criminal threatening and simple assault charges.

He was released on $7,500 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in Dover district court March 12.
