Lucky for Life winner is a Manchester man

CONCORD - A Manchester man has won the top prize in Lucky for Life, which promises the winner $1,000 a day for life.

But winner Robert Keefe opted instead for a one-time cash payout, lottery officials said. Keefe received his $5.75 million check on Tuesday at the lottery headquarters.

He told lottery officials he uses the same numbers for all of the lottery games he plays, with his numbers representing birthdays.

Keefe is the second Lucky For Life top prize winner from New Hampshire since the game launched in March 2012. He bought the winning ticket at the Hannaford Supermarket at 859 Hanover Street in Manchester.
