Londonderry superintendent submits letter of retirement after 17 years

LONDONDERRY — After 17 years as superintendent, Nate Greenberg has submitted a letter of retirement with "mixed emotions."

In his letter addressed on Oct. 14, Greenberg wrote, "upon my arrival in 2000, I knew that there was something special happening in Londonderry."

Greenberg, who will be officially retired June 31, 2017, will be replaced by Assistant Superintendent, Scott Laliberte.

Board members cited Laliberte’s contributions to Londonderry in the last two years and his experience and leadership in curriculum development for all students as primary reasons to support his promotion.

Greenberg ended his retirement letter with, "I will miss you all. Thank you for an amazing 17 years."
