Londonderry officials ask neighbors to help neighbors with snow

LONDONDERRY - Town officials are urging residents to lend a hand removing snow. Officials say crews have been working around the clock but they can't be everywhere.

Neighbors are being called to help neighbors.

Across the town, snow blowers, shovels and tractors are hard at work. At Monday's town council meeting, the officials urged anyone who has time and resources to pitch in.

The town is wary of the elderly and disabled and also the health risks involved with shoveling piles of snow.

Large snowbanks are a common sight around Londonderry, so whether it's rooftops, driveways or side streets, the town is putting out the word that they need help.
