Lofty prices for AFC championship tickets

FOXBOROUGH - Nothing in the world is free, especially Patriots tickets. In fact, they're especially expensive since the winner of Sunday's game in Foxborough will punch their ticket to Super Bowl XLIX.

Per stubhub.com, seats in the "nosebleed" section start at $250 a piece. Seats in the "Club Section" near the 50-yard line (often considered prime seating) can go as high as $2185.25 per ticket.

Seatgeek.com calls a four-pack of tickets in section 132 near the 50-yard line available for $1303 per ticket a "good deal" denoted by a green dot.

As of 10:35 p.m. on Tuesday night, ticketmaster.com was officially out of tickets for Sunday's AFC championship game against the Colts.

The cheapest option? Watch the game from home.

Odds are you'll be warmer, too!
