Locals lead the charge at DWC

There’s some home cooking going on at Daniel Webster College, especially with the men’s soccer team. The Eagles have developed a local flavor. Not that they haven’t had many locals in the past, but it seems more concentrated this season, especially with a talented sophomore class. “It’s exciting,” Eagles coach Matt Correia said. “The fact we’re finally starting to get some talent from our back yard, it’s quite useful to us.” Correia made that a priority when the took over the program a few years ago, especially after seeing the success the baseball program has had with local players. Former Alvirne standout Kyle Brigham has been the New England Collegiate Conference’s Player of the Year for two straight years on the diamond, one of those seasons an NCAA tourney year. “That was sketch I needed when I got here,” Correia said.
