CONCORD - As more women come forward accusing Bill Cosby of sexual assault, the actor and comedian faces more cancellations.
Casinos in Las Vegas and Arizona cancelled upcoming performances. NBC and Netflix cancelled projects. The Cosby Show is now off the air on TV Land, and the home of NH1 News, WBIN-TV, just pulled the Cosby Show from its programming.
General Manager Gerry McGavick said, "We certainly believe everybody is innocent until proven guilty. Nobody is interested in trying anyone in the media, however it's not a conversation right now. There are a number of people who have come out with allegations and there's been no reply from their side, so when that happens we're really left with no choice other than to make the decision that is in the best interest of our viewers. In that particular case we felt this was the best decision."
Thursday night Cosby appeared in the Bahamas at a benefit for a women's service organization. He is slated to perform at least 36 shows between now and May 2015.
