Litchfield man dies after he and passenger were ejected from car on Everett Turnpike
BEDFORD - A Litchfield man has passed away after he and his passenger were ejected from their vehicle on Everett Turnpike Tuesday afternoon.
Tuesday, State Police responded to a report of a single vehicle rollover collision where two passengers were ejected from their Chevrolet Avalanche on the Everett Turnpike southbound Exit 13 off-ramp in Bedford.
When police got to the scene, people were assisting the severely injured driver John Borrun, 47 of Litchfield, and his passenger Sarah Deering, 22 of Auburn.
Witnesses who saw the accident told police that they saw Borrun traveling at a high speed and appeared to be weaving around slower traffic. Witnesses also told police that once Borrun proceeded onto the Exit 13 southbound off-ramp, he then lost control and drove off the left side of the roadway where it began to roll over. Both Borrun and Deering were ejected.
Both passengers were transported from the scene to the Elliot Hospital in Manchester where Borrun later died.
Deering sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries.
