Litchfield high school dress code hits snag with addendum banning yoga pants

A national fashion trend toward form-fitting athletic wear is conflicting with Campbell High School’s new dress code, and not everyone is happy about it. A group of mothers and daughters spoke against Litchfield’s new dress code, which bans several types of clothing – tube dresses, togas, jeggings, yoga pants and running tights – although much of the focus last week’s meeting was on yoga pants. Half a dozen female students attended the meeting wearing banned outfits, including yoga pants with a long sweater and boots. Another had on yoga pants with a long flannel shirt.
