LISTEN/READ: Rep. Lachance says Kyle Tasker 'Club Med of weed' in NH AG interview
The N.H. Attorney General's office has released audio of interviews conducted during its investigation into ex-state Rep. Kyle Tasker.
Among the testimony was Joseph Lachance, who gave an animated interview and admitted to buying drugs from Tasker. You can listen to it in its entirety above.
Lachance said he and Tasker didn't really get to know each other until a year after being at the Statehouse and he knew Tasker was a "problem child" because of where he sat.
"Ah, I think if you asked every Representative who is in Murderers’ Row, Kyle Tasker’s name would come right up," he says. "He’s loud. He doesn’t know who to keep his mouth shut. Um, he says some pretty insulting things."
He said the two formed a friendship over their views on marijuana and Lachance eventually says he bought from Tasker to relieve his PTSD and pain.
"He was, like. Ah, the Club Med of Weed, I guess I would call it," Lachance says.
Lachance paid about $400 for an ounce of marijuana, buying one or, at most, two ounces at a time, according to the A.G.'s report. He also paid about $380 for two dozen brownies.
Lachance, Amanda Bouldin, Pamela Tucker and Ted Wright sat down with a group of investigators in August, revealing how and why they communicated with embattle former lawmaker Kyle Tasker.
