Liquor Commission claims new contract has saved NH millions

The New Hampshire Liquor Commission says the state has saved $3 million in liquor warehousing and transportation costs since teaming up with a new company.

In 2012, the commission began a relationship with Exel of Ohio and credit that partnership to the savings.

Product can be stored in the Exel Warehouse in Bow without any handling, storage or outbound processing fees.

The Commission ended a 20-year relationship with Law Warehouses of Nashua prior to the Exel contract.
