Lee police: Drug-related calls up 200 percent in 2015, car accidents and arrests increase


LEE - Drug related calls were up 200 percent in Lee in 2015 from 2014, according to statistics released by the Lee Police Department.

That means they went from 13 to 38.

Lee police reported an increase in arrests, car accidents, traffic stops, and calls for service as well.

Arrests went from 171 to 181 for a 5 percent increase.

Traffic stops went from 1698 to 2164 for a 27 percent increase.

Car accidents went from 200 203 for a 1 percent increase.

Calls for service went from 7337 to 8827 for a 20 percent increase.
