Lebanon Police searching for man that allegedly attacked woman on trail, fled in sedan

LEBANON — A woman was allegedly attacked while walking on a trail off of Loop Road near Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center on Sunday at about 5:40 p.m.

The victim told police that the male subject came up behind her, threw her to the ground, and physically assaulted her.

When the victim fought back, the attacker fled back down the trail towards the parking lot. The male subject then fled in a dark colored 4-door sedan.

The suspect is described to be a while male between the ages of 18-25. He is about 6' tall, has shaggy dirty blonde hair, and is a medium build, according to police.

The victim sustained minor injuries and refused medical treatment.

Police say the victim appears to have been chosen at random and there is no known connection between the victim and the suspect.

The Lebanon Police Department Patrol and Detective Bureaus are working to process the scene and conduct the investigation, which is ongoing.
