Lebanon police arrest Massachusetts man accused of transporting, selling drugs

LEBANON - A Massachusetts man faces charges after police say he was caught bringing a variety of illegal drugs into the city.

Sean Murphy, 34, of Andover, Mass. was arrested after an investigation into illegal drug activity. Police say he was bringing cocaine, marijuana and prescription narcotics into the state from Massachusetts.

Murphy was arrested on Tuesday and arraigned on Wednesday where he was released on $10,000 personal recognizance bail at the Lebanon District Court.

A search warrant on his car led to the discovery of numerous edible marijuana items as well as packaged marijuana, police said.

He has been charged with four counts of possession of a controlled drug and possession of controlled drugs with intent to distribute. He is scheduled to appear in Lebanon District Court on April 4.
