Lawler’s Raiders are making soccer strides

Bill Lawler and his program have been pushing and pushing and pushing. At some point, the Rivier University men’s soccer team will look to knock the door down. But for now, Lawler’s Raiders are a work in progress. He arrives at Daniel Webster College’s Eagle Field, the site of some of his best work as a coach (NECC title, NCAA tourney appearance) on Wednesday with great memories but currently a team that needs to score goals. Riv has lost five straight (1-6) and has just three goals on the year. The Raiders need to get this rivalry game out of the way so they can see what dent they can make in their own conference, the Great Northeast Athletic Conference.
