Latest Nashua drug bust nets arrests of 14 on charges of selling heroin, cocaine

NASHUA - Police arrested 14 people this week, many of them repeat offenders, on charges of selling heroin or cocaine in the city.

The arrests stemmed from an investigation by the Nashua Police Department’s Narcotics Intelligence Division and the arrests were made with help from the FBI and a regional DEA task force.

NH1 News caught up with Nashua Police Lieutenant Kevin Rourke on Thursday morning and asked him a few questions about the bust.

Citizens are urged to call the Narcotics Hotline at 594-3597 or utilize the Nashua Police Department’s website NashuaPD.com with any information concerning illegal drug activity.

The arrrests

Nicholas Lepine, 19, of 72 Chestnut Street Apartment 1, on one count of selling cocaine. Lepine was released on $5,000 cash bail and is scheduled to be arraigned at the 9th Circuit District Division Nashua Court on Jan. 12.

Jane Dussault, 19, of 4 Autumn Leaf Drive Apartment 9, Nashua on three counts of selling heroin, second offense. Dussault was transferred to the Hillsborough County jail where she was held on $75,000 cash or surety bail. Dussault was arraigned Wednesday and a probable cause hearing was scheduled for Dec. 21 at the 9th Circuit District Division Nashua Court.

Michael Marquis, 49, of 29 Temple Street Apartment 214, Nashua, on three counts of selling heroin. Marquis was transferred to the Hillsborough County jail after refusing bail. Marquis was arraigned Wednesday and a probable cause hearing was scheduled for Dec. 21 at the 9th Circuit District Division Nashua Court.

Topacio Baez, 27, of 1 Beauview Apartment # 25, Nashua was arrested and charged with three counts of selling cocaine. Baez was released on $5,000 cash or surety bail. Baez is scheduled for arraignment at the 9th Circuit District Division Nashua Court on Jan. 12.

Angela Peno, 39, of 42 Kinsley Street Apartment 8, Nashua, was arrested on two counts of selling heroin, second offense, one count of possession with intent to distribute heroin, second offense and one count of possession of Ritalin, second offense. Peno was held at the Hillsborough County jail on $75,000 cash or surety bail. Peno was arraigned Wednesday and a probable cause hearing was scheduled for Dec. 21 at the 9th Circuit District Division Nashua Court.

Wilfredo Cruz, 40, of 29 Kinsley Street, Nashua, was arrested on two counts of selling cocaine, second offense, and one count of criminal liability for the conduct of another related to the sale of cocaine. Cruz was transferred to the Hillsborough County House of Corrections with a $75,000 cash or surety bail. Cruz was arraigned Wednesday and a probable cause hearing was scheduled for Dec. 21 at the 9th Circuit District Division Nashua Court.

Sonya Nedd, 52, of 26 Hanover Street apartment A, Nashua, was arrested on three counts of selling crack cocaine, second offense. Nedd was transferred to the Hillsborough County jail on a $75,000 cash or surety bail. Nedd was arraigned Wednesday and a probable cause hearing was scheduled for Dec. 21 at the 9th Circuit District Division Nashua Court.

Richard Smith, 31, of 1 Tolles Street, Nashua, was arrested and charged with two counts of selling heroin and was held on $10,000 cash or surety bail. Smith was held at the Hillsborough County jail and was arraigned Wednesday and a probable cause hearing was scheduled for Dec. 21 at the 9th Circuit District Division Nashua Court.

James Campbell, 54, of 46 Spring Street, Apartment 3, Nashua, was arrested on four counts of selling crack cocaine. Campbell was held at the Hillsborough County jail on $100,000 cash bail. Campbell was arraigned Wednesday and a probable cause hearing was scheduled for Dec. 21 at the 9th Circuit District Division Nashua Court.

Jessica King, 30, of 7 Hanover Street apartment B, Nashua,was arrested on two counts of selling heroin and two counts of selling a substance representative of heroin. King was transferred to the Hillsborough County jail with a $75,000 cash or surety bail. King was arraigned Wednesday and a probable cause hearing was scheduled for Dec. 21 at the 9th Circuit District Division Nashua Court.

Lawrence Nelson, 30, of 104 Walnut Street apartment 7, Nashua, was arrested on one count of selling crack cocaine, second offense, and one count of selling cocaine, second offense . Nelson was transferred to the Hillsborough County House of Corrections with a $50,000 cash or surety bail. Nelson was arraigned Wednesday and a probable cause hearing was scheduled for Dec. 21 at the 9th Circuit District Division Nashua Court.

Andrea Shamp, 23, of 38 Hood Road, Brookline, was arrested on one count of selling heroin. Shamp was released on $200 cash bail and is scheduled for arraignment at the 9th Circuit District Division Nashua Court on Jan. 21.

Daniel Hebert, 59, of 373 Lafayette Road Apartment #204, Hampton, was arrested on four counts of selling heroin, second offense and was held on $100,000 cash or surety bail. Hebert was arraigned Thursday and a probable cause hearing was scheduled for Dec. 23 at the 9th Circuit District Division Nashua Court.

Ulysses McMillan, 29, of 14 Newland Avenue, Hudson, was arrested on two counts of selling heroin, second offense. McMillan was transferred to the Hillsborough County jail with a $50.000 cash bail. McMillan was arraigned Thursday and a probable cause hearing was scheduled for Dec. 23 at the 9th Circuit District Division Nashua Court.
