Laconia police find 42 grams of meth, heroin, assorted pills at Landmark Inn


LACONIA — A search conducted in a hotel room at Landmark Inn led to the discovery of 42 grams of meth, heroin and assorted pills.

The Laconia Police Department Drug Unit along with N.H. Probation and Parole searched 31-year-old Brian Norris's hotel room, and found drugs worth an estimated street value of $9,000.

Norris was arrested and charged with one count of possession of a narcotic drug with intent to distribute - methamphetamine, one count of possession of a narcotic drug - heroin, and two additional counts of possession of a controlled drug - buprenorphine, chlonazapran.

He is being held on $50,000 cash bail and is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.
