LACONIA - A roaring success?
Organizers of last week’s Laconia Motorcycle Week said so.
They also said the event was a major boost to not only to the Granite State economy, but all of New England’s economy, too.
About 300,000 people attended the event.
When all added up - rooms and meals tax, food, souvenirs, vender rentals and more – the organizers said the event brought in an estimated $100 million.
There was, however, one motor cycle fatality during the weekend.
