Knife attack leads to arrest of Nashua suspect on assault charges


NASHUA - An early morning knife attack sent one man to the hospital and led to a second man's arrest on Wednesday.

Jonathan Rhodes, 25, of Nashua, has been charged with three counts of first-degree assault. Police say they were called to 46 Chestnut St. around 2:30 a.m. where they found a man who'd been assaulted with a knife. The victim was taken to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.

Rhodes was identified as a suspect and arrested later in the afternoon.

He refused bail and was scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on Thursday.
