Killer of Pam Smart up for Parole in March
HAMPTON - William "Billy" Flynn, the 16 year-old who killed his lover's husband in 1990 is up for parole March 12.
Flynn pleaded guilty to the 1990 crime and testified against his lover, Pamela Smart. According to Flynn, Smart recruited him and several friends to kill her husband at their condo in Derry.
Flynn was just 16 when he committed the crime with 3 other co-conspirators. He was sentenced to 28 years in prison but got three years knocked off for his rehabilitation efforts.
Smart admits having an affair with the then-teenager but denies anything to do with her husband's murder.
Flynn is now 41 years old.
